HOLLYWOOD, Fla. - Barack Obama may have a "funny name," as he once said - but it might just catch on among the nation's newborns.

A Florida couple became among the country's first to bestow it on their child, even before most news outlets had declared the Illinois senator the president-elect.

Sanjae Obama Fisher was born at 8 p.m. EST Tuesday at Hollywood's Memorial Regional Hospital to Patrick and Sasha Hall Fisher. A hospital spokeswoman says it was the father's idea.

In Arkansas, Benjamin Barack Kimbrough was born at 2:35 p.m. CDT on Election Day to Walter and Adria Kimbrough. Walter Kimbrough is president of Philander Smith College, a historically black school in Little Rock.

In Maryland, a mother who went into labor Tuesday after voting for Obama named her newborn daughter for the Obamas' two girls, 7-year-old Sasha and Malia, 10. Lakisha Brown of Joppa gave birth to Sasha Malia Ann Taylor at 12:36 a.m. Wednesday at Greater Baltimore Medical Center.

STIMULATING BABY'S INTELLIGENCE

Everyone has intelligent potentiality; nature and nurture. Nature is given, nurture is stimulation from society, so to make baby more intelligent everything can be done. Every parent wants their baby become intelligent. They are rightfully proud if their baby becomes a champion. Therefore, they do everything to increase their baby's intelligence.

Dr. Rose said an intelligent baby always feels happy. Baby's intelligent cover everything i.e. an intelligent baby has ability more than average.

There are same ways to increase baby's intelligence:

Giving nutrition for baby
Schooling baby into best school
Giving baby some courses
Listening music for baby

Luciano Pavarotti, Italian tenor who died last year (2007) said that music is a pleasing activity and the most perfect expression of emotion. But some people regard that it's only as interlude in boring.

DON'T FORCE YOUR BABY MORE TO BE INTELLIGENT

Parent should not force their baby become intelligent. The most important thing that must be paid their attention is the differences of baby's intelligent capacity. Every baby has different intelligent capacity.

It's like a glass. There is a baby that has a big glass capacity, but there is another baby has a little one. A baby with big capacity should have a big intelligence too. Baby with little capacity should have a little one too.

Therefore every parent should not compare their baby to another. To be always happy is better for baby, because he always receive the stimulant of intelligence in that condition with very simply. On the contrary, when a baby feels necessity, it become difficult for baby to receive the stimulant of intelligence.

A SAVE BATHING BABY

Here are some tips to keep baby happy and safe at bath time:
Set your hot-water heater at 120 degrees or lower.

Gather everything you need beforehand. Never leave your baby alone in the bath or on the changing table, not even for an instant. A child can drown in less than an inch of water.

If the phone rings - ignore it! Let the answering machine pick up.

Fill the tub with only 2 to 3 inches for newborns and infants up to six months old and never more than waist-high (in sitting position) for older children.

Test the water temperature to be sure it's not too hot - between 90 and 100°F is ideal.

In a large tub, use a non-slip mat and a supportive plastic bath seat if your baby needs help sitting up.

Cover the bathroom floor with non-slip rugs.

Teach your child to sit in the tub at all times.

Consider using a padded faucet cover to prevent bumps and burns, especially if your child is active.

Bathing can be fun! Bath time isn't just for getting clean! Try these activities for fun in the tub:

Play peek-a-boo with a rubber ducky or other water-friendly toy, dipping the toy under the water and bringing up onto your baby's belly, shoulder, etc.

Add a plastic boat or other floating device to the water and show your baby how the toy rocks when the water is splashed.
Punch holes in the bottom of an empty yogurt container. Fill it with bath water and make it "rain" in the tub.

Make a hand puppet by sewing washcloths together. Have the puppet sing or talk in a funny voice as you soap your baby with it.

Make "bath-soup" using spoons, measuring cups, strainers and other cooking utensils to stir and mix the water.
Anything plastic that floats, splashes, or squirts makes a great bath toy. Remember to clean the toys in hot soapy water.
